Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, signing in as a guest, or otherwise accessing or playing Mecha Lotería (the "Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Game. These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Repository Holdings Group, LLC ("we," "us," "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or play the Game. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly allow account creation by anyone under 13 — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle this.

3. Accounts

• You can play as a guest without an account, sign in with a Google or Discord account (OAuth), or create a direct account with a username, email, and password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts to evade matchmaking, quest limits, or a suspension.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see Section 10 and our Privacy Policy.

4. Fair Play & Conduct

To keep matches fair for everyone on the circuit, you agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, macros, or automation to play matches, complete quests, or manipulate matchmaking queues on your behalf;
• Exploit bugs, race conditions, or server/client desyncs for unintended advantage, including tampering with matchmaking session codes, queue state, or client-reported game state;
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or share another player's private information without consent;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or backend infrastructure (including our database or Redis matchmaking layer);
• Use the Game to violate any applicable law.

Violating this section may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account at our discretion, without refund of any purchases.

5. Virtual Items & Currency

The Game includes virtual currency ("Gold"), cards, chassis, and cosmetic items ("Virtual Items"). Virtual Items:

• Have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or cashed out for real money or transferred outside the Game;
• Are licensed to you for use within the Game, not sold — we retain ownership of all Virtual Items;
• May be modified, rebalanced, or removed at our discretion, including as part of game balance updates;
• Are forfeited without compensation if your account is terminated for violating these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Game, including its code, mech chassis designs, card artwork, audio, user interface, and all Mecha Lotería branding, is the property of Repository Holdings Group, LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Game except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

7. Third-Party Services

Signing in with Google or Discord is governed by those providers' own terms and privacy policies in addition to ours. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of these third-party services. The Game is hosted on third-party cloud infrastructure (Railway); see our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Game at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Game and request account deletion at any time by contacting contact@mechaloteria.com.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted/error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Repository Holdings Group, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game, including loss of progress, Virtual Items, or data resulting from service interruptions, matchmaking errors, or account actions taken under these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Game after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Repository Holdings Group, LLC operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law provides otherwise.
